Microsoft has sold fewer than 180,000 Xbox 360s in Japan since its launch a year ago. Sony’s PS3 in its first month has already bettered the Xbox 360’s tally by almost 10,000 units. And then there’s the Wii — that console garnered sales of 400,000 within its first week on the market in Japan.
